Heather Co., Ltd. is the original copyright holder of the Japanese subtitle translations, caption timing, and editorial adaptation elements added to public-domain motion pictures. We do not assert ownership over the underlying audiovisual works, which are understood to have entered the public domain.
Our subtitle translations are created for the purpose of cultural accessibility, historical preservation, and education. Responsible reuse, preservation efforts, and academic quotation are welcomed as long as proper attribution is maintained and no misleading claims of exclusive ownership are made.
We do not claim any rights over the underlying public-domain audiovisual materials beyond the subtitle translation layer, caption timing structure, and editorial text added to such works.
We will not use Content ID to block access to public-domain audiovisual materials. Our use case is limited to attribution tracking and preservation of the subtitle translation layer.
